Beau Sandland, one of the top JUCO tight end recruits in the country, committed to Miami Wednesday over Arizona State. Out of Pierce College (Calif.), he was recruited by the top colleges in the country, including many SEC schools.

The Longhorns should benefit in 2012 from two junior college transfers and could go that route again. So far, Texas has shown some interest in defensive lineman Marcus Hardison and tight end Beau Sandland
