In an interview with IT's Ross Lucksinger, Damion James indicated that he has not yet decided about his future at Texas, but is not planning on testing the waters by declaring and not hiring an agent. Rick Barnes, however, favors that approach and may well recommend it to James, with whom he will meet on Wednesday to discuss James' future. The Longhorn coach has been out of town recruiting virtually since the season ended. Among the topcis of discussion will be James' place in the offense next season. James may announce his decision as soon as Wednesday afternoon after the meeting.

Wow. Strong words from Rick Barnes about Scott Drew and the hiring of Dwon Clifton. I had known about that hiring, but hadn't heard anything about Drew repeatedly using negative recruiting practices. If you want to read something ridiculous, but amusing, check out the links to the reactions of Baylor fans on their message board. Wow, talk about delusional.

Avery Bradley, ranked no. 8 overall by Rivals and no. 10 by Scout, gave his commitment to Rick Barnes and the Longhorns basketball team on Wednesday. He's the second member of the 2009 class, along with Shawn Williams.
