While participating in the The Opening out in Oregon, Shreveport Woodlawn DE/LB Torshiro Davis told 247 that he is 80% committed to LSU, will take official visits to LSU, Alabama, and Texas. Davis is the final defensive end on the board for Texas, but the other two schools are recruiting him as a linebacker. The Longhorns have a fighting chance as a result of Davis' relationship with new defensive tackles coach Bo Davis.
