Practice report: day one

Whistles, water bottles, sleds and skeletons. 'Tis the season. A pretty solid turnout on day one, with somewhere around 200 or so fans taking in the start of the 2008 season. It wasn't quite as packed as it was for the opening practice a year ago, but that's partly because of the poor weather...
