Diminishing Value

Vince Young opened the season as a 7/1 underdog to take home the Heisman Trophy. Vegas has now moved VY to the forefront, at least in terms of odds, at 10/13. Bush is at 3/2 and Leinart at 4/1.

Does this mean VY is going to take home the trophy? Or even that whoever sets the line thinks he's going to win it?

Not necessarily. The odds are set to create action. But betting on Vince is no longer the great value that it once was.
