The Dominance Continues

The Longhorns continued their dominance of the Big 12 in 2005, this time in the post-season awards category. The Horns garnered four major awards:

*Vince Young was voted Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year
*Mack Brown was voted Big 12 Coach of the Year
*Jamaal Charles was voted Big 12 Offensive Freshman of the Year
*Brian Orakpo was voted Big 12 Defensive Freshman of the Year

Not that these are terribly surprising, but it's a nice honor for the Horns, and especially for Coach Brown, who deserves every bit of the praise he's getting.

I'm also excited that Charles was awarded, as he seems to need a confidence boost right now, and Texas certainly could use him in top form for their bowl game.

The amazing 2005 season continues.  Anyone else excited to buy the DVDs from all this?
