College Football Blog Award Nominees: Brady Quinn Award

Burnt Orange Nation is beginning to select its nominations for the first annual College Football Blog Awards. BON's nominees for each award will be laid out in a separate post.

Readers note: nominating blogs is open to everyone.  To nominate blogs for any of the categories, simply go to the Nomination Page and nominate blogs of your choice.

CATEGORY: The Brady Quinn Award

FOR: The prettiest blog, the best layout and design.

CRITERIA: An aesthetic appeal, whether from a stylish banner, a pleasing layout, or an eye-catching incorporation of blog technology.

BON's NOMINEES

Rocky Top Talk Not only is it an SBN blog, which gives it all the terrific community features that we enjoy here at BON, but Joel incorporates new technology into his site as well, or better, than anyone out there. Skype gameday chats. Flash site banner. And, the mother of them all, the Animated Race for the BCS. There are several other worthy nominees, but I can't think of any site that's more deserving of this award.

Bevo Sports A tip of our ten gallon hat to our friends Matt and Brian over at Bevo Sports, who have put together one of the more aesthetically pleasing blogs around. There's no shortage of outstanding incorporation of new technologies, either, which is always a nice plus. I guess this shouldn't come as too big a surprise, as Matt does this kind of thing by trade.

Trojan Wire If you're not a USC Trojan fan, the content's not exactly for you, but you've got to respect the site layout and aesthetic appeal. The site is remarkably clean and easy to navigate for the reader. Trojan Wire almost emits an aura of prestige and wealth. Appropriate, I think.
