A Step Forward

Beating Nebraska in Austin was not surprising. The second  half, however, was the best half of basketball that I've seen from the Horns all year. The offense totally took things to a new level in opening up the huge lead.

I'll let Wiggins handle the full game summary, but one thing that really jumped out at me was the aggressiveness of Lamarcus Aldridge. He was so much more physical and assertive, using his size and length and talent advantages as he hadn't been prior to this afternoon. While he was outstanding against Oklahoma, this was his best game of the year. He played like a guy who knew he was the best player on the court and couldn't be stopped inside. That's a big difference.

Things just keep getting better for the hoops team. Lots to discuss in the coming week.
