The final week of the regular season is upon us. Texas took a major step toward a top seed and a confident run at the Final Four. Barring major collapses Duke, UConn, and Villanova seem likely to grab #1 seeds. The thinking the last two weeks has been Memphis or possibly Texas for the last #1. I agree but will add one more team to the discussion, Ohio State. The Buckeyes are currently 21-4 overall, 10-4 in the Big 10, and have two very winnable games left on their schedule. An outright Big Ten title will look more impressive than a Big 12 title and probably more impressive than an undefeated Conference USA run. Lots of basketball left to play. All smiles here, March begins on Wednesday.
These are if the season ended today. They are listed by strength within each seed as well.
