Tonight in Lubbock

#7 Texas (19-3, 7-1) heads back to the hardwood tonight in Lubbock 8 PM CST on ESPN2 against Texas Tech (12-10, 4-4). The Horns once again will play the second game of ESPN's Big Monday. The Horns have won two in a row and eleven of their last twelve. The Red Raiders have won two of their last three and their last five straight at home.

The Horns pounded Texas Tech in their first meeting in Austin, 80-46. The Red Raiders turned the ball over 19 times and shot just 36% from the floor. Lamarcus Aldridge was the star with 19 points and seven rebounds. Aldridge has been plagued by foul trouble in each of the last two contests. If he can manage to stay in the game, he could have another big game against the shorter and slower Texas Tech defenders.

Under Rick Barnes, Texas is now 14-2 against Texas Tech and 62-5 against in state opponents. A victory will give the Horns their seventh straight season with at least twenty victories.

After Sunday's contests, Texas now holds a one game lead over Kansas in the Big 12 race. Oklahoma and Colorado are two games back after both suffering losses on Sunday afternoon.

Things to Watch
Will Aldridge be able to stay out of foul trouble and on the floor?
Will Texas play defense like they did in the 1st half (awesome) or 2nd half (poor) against A&M?
Can Coach Knight get scoring from anyone other than Jarrius Jackson or Martin Zeno?
Will Texas play 2-3 zone all game to slow down the Tech motion offense?
Will Texas run an inbounds play that looks like an actual play?
Will Lubbock appear on TV as miserable as it actually is?
Will Bobby Knight's sweater have an endorsement from a place anyone has actually heard of?

Texas escapes Lubbock, 72-64.
