Late Sunday Results

Florida 81, LSU 65
This one wasn't available on TV in my area. A 16 point tournament win in any league is very impressive especially against the #1 seeded Tigers. The game was tied with eight minutes left before the Gators took over. I have thought all year that UF has been overrated. They are now 26-6 and have won four straight after dropping three in a row.

Ohio State 52, Indiana 51
The Buckeyes won a close one despite shooting 5/27 from three point land. Indiana had the ball last and got two good looks at the basket. Ohio State can make their statement for a #1 seed tomorrow. I still think it will be too little, too late. The Hoosiers are definitely in the NCAA tournament.

Boston College 85, North Carolina 82
Craig Smith and Jared Dudley were absolutely awesome. BC shot an outstanding 62% from the floor. I thought Carolina was playing the best in the ACC. I was wrong. The Eagles will be tough out in the tournament. Their NCAA seed is rising. Carolina gets an extra day of rest now. They will be a #3 seed and get to play in Greensboro, NC.

Kansas 79, Nebraska 65
This was a mismatch from the opening tip. Kansas is just too talented. KU got big games from their guards Russell Robinson and Mario Chalmers. The Jayhawks were never in danger of dropping this one unlike the Horns were earlier in the day. Kansas' depth will come in very handy on Sunday.
