Today is the last day of regular season action for the major conferences.
Congratulations to Pennsylvania, Winthrop, Belmont, and Murray State. All four have earned trips the NCAA tournament. 61 spots still open. Who will be the next in? Missouri Valley and Southern conferences decide their champions today.
Sunday's Big Games
Florida at Kentucky 11 AM CST CBS
Both teams are bad. Florida started season hot but hasn't beaten anyone lately. A win would be big for confidence. Wildcats are likely in NCAA tournament after win at Tennessee. A win here would end all doubt.
Villanova at Syracuse 11 AM CST CBS
A Nova victory secures a share of the Big East title with UConn. This team might have been truly unstoppable with Curtis Sumpter. Syracuse is on the wrong side of the bubble again. The `Cuse desperately need this one and probably one more.
Purdue at Ohio State 11 AM CST ESPNU
Purdue has been terrible this season and isn't likely to steal this one. The Buckeyes are one win away from an outright Big 10 title and a shot at a #1 seed.
Florida State at Miami 12 Noon CST ESPN Full Court
Seminoles got signature win over Duke on Wednesday. They need a validation road win to stay in NCAA tourney field.
Bradley and S. Illinois Missouri Valley Championship 1 PM CST
Bradley was on the bubble coming into MVC tourney. With a win, they are in for sure. Even with a loss, they may still make the field.
Maryland at Virginia 2:30 PM CST
Terps have underachieved all season. This is a must win to have any shot at an at-large bid.
