I've been a pretty good boy lately. Other than the Highfalutin `Pologist-induced spats of nastiness, I've largely refrained from vitriolic attacks on the writings of others. Mostly, when I encounter something miserable, I shrug and ignore it.
In fact, I can only think of two instances in which I really turned the vitriol into high gear. Back at ATL, I blasted a Statesman columnist for a horrific piece mixing books and football. Here at BON, I felt compelled to blast this idiot from the Daily Texan. Other than that, I've been well behaved.
But right now, I'm sitting here trying to figure out what to do.
I was emailed the single worst column written in the history of sports journalism, the worst of which comes at the expense of Vincent Paul Young, Jr.
The sum of it is that Vince is a petulant, spoiled, dumb, black, greedy, conniving athlete that's going to tear the Tennessee Titans down. If I believed that he was just being sarcastic, I might be more cautious about drawing any conclusions, but the resentful prick who wrote this column appears to just hate Vince Young.
And I don't know what to do.
I want to call him out for being the bitter, resentful, know-nothing hack that he is, but it just doesn't seem worth it. Vince Young may needs his defenders, but not from ass clowns like this one. When your "analysis" is this amazingly bitter and negative, the only thing you can wonder is how a USC fan got stuck in Buffalo.
41-38.
There, that was easy.
