In an angle I forgot to mention in the preview, Kevin Durant is going home. Durant's hometown of Suitland, Maryland, is just 2 1/2 hours from Philadelphia. KD is expected to have dozens of family and friends on hand at the Wachovia Center on Saturday afternoon.
Villanova coach, Jay Wright, is worried some of the 20,000 expected will Sixers fans on hand to catch a glimpse of the Durant instead of rooting for the Wildcats. The 76ers currently have the second worst record in the NBA. With a few more losses, the Sixers could be a lucky ping pong ball away from bringing Durant back to the East Coast.
