Bob Stoops issued a statement on SoonerSports, saying, "To end speculation here in the heart of recruiting I want to make it clear that I am not interested in any other coaching positions at this time.  I am too excited about our future at Oklahoma and the program we're continuing to build."

No word yet from Nick Saban.

Aaron Ross had two interceptions during Senior Bowl workouts today, and is generating quite a bit of buzz. He should be a first round draft pick.

The Longhorn baseball team will host its fan appreciation day, along with the annual alumni game, this Saturday, January 27th, at the Dell Diamond. Admission to the activities are free, and will kick off at 10:00 a.m. with a two hour autograph session. Fans are restricted to -one- item for autographing, so choose wisely. After the autograph session ends at noon, the players and alumni will take the field to warm up for the exhibition game, which will begin at 1:00 p.m. The Longhorns season officially begins Friday, February 2nd at 3 p.m. at the Dell Diamond, where they'll take on the University of San Diego in the first game of a three game series.

Rick Barnes tells the press that Durant is growing weary of all the NBA questions. Look for Rick to keep the media away from Durant for a little while. Certainly until this team gets back on track.
