Big 12 Saturday Games

Not too many compelling games on today's slate, but here's a look anyway.

Oklahoma State (19-8, 5-7) at Texas Tech (17-11, 6-7) 11 AM CBS
The Cowboys can't win on the road and are down six at halftime. Tech would really help their NCAA resume by winning out starting today. Prediction: Tech

Update [2007-2-24 14:29:57 by awiggo]: Idiotic end to the OSU/Tech game engineered by young Sutton. Down just two with 14 seconds left, Sutton decides to go for the win. Terell Harris forces a three and gets it blocked. Mario Boggan rebounds the miss -in the paint- yet dribbles away from the basket to shoot another contested fall away three-pointer. Obviously, he misses, Tech wins by two, and the disappointment for OSU fans continues. Nice job, Sean.

Missouri (17-9, 6-7) at Nebraska (15-11, 4-8) 12:30 ESPN+
Missouri has quietly won three straight and is close to being in the bubble discussion. They likely need to win out though. Prediction: Missouri

Baylor (13-13, 3-10) at #9 Texas A&M (23-4, 11-2) 12:30 ESPN+
The Bears defeated Nebraska earlier this week at home and will be looking for their first 2-0 week in conference play. Not. gonna. happen. Big 12 race comes down to the final week and Horns get a chance to play spoiler. Prediction: A&M

Kansas State (19-9, 8-5) at Colorado (6-17, 2-11) 3 PM ESPN+
For an at-large berth, this is a 'must win' for the Bob Huggins' Wildcats. CU has lost four straight and eight of their last nine. Prediction: KSU

Iowa State (14-13, 5-8) at #6 Kansas (24-4, 11-2) 5 PM ESPN
The Cyclones almost took down the Jayhawks in Ames but this one is in Lawrence and shouldn't be close. Prediction: Kansas
