Super Regional Game Two Open Thread

It's Texas-TCU at 2 PM on ESPN. No official word who will get the start for the Horns...Cole Green was money his last start against Army whereas Taylor Jungmann was not. Green has a bit more experience than the frosh Jungmann, so there's probably a pretty good chance that Augie will throw him.

Chance Ruffin wasn't perfect, but his complete game gave the Texas bullpen an important extra day of rest. TCU will probably counter with Paul Gerrish or Tyler Lockwood, neither of whom is particularly scary but both are capable of shutting down the Horns. Of note, TCU long reliever Trent Appleby threw 36 pitches yesterday, so while he is probably available for more work today, he is unlikely to eat up many innings.

Update from PB at the Disch: The wind is blowing steadily out from right to left field at about 15 miles per hour, with occasional gusts at even higher speeds. Could be a good day for right-handed power hitting, which may favor TCU (although newly-minted homerun hitter Michael Torres might have something to say about that).
