Vince Young Leads NFL In Passer Rating

Bless his heart, the baller can't catch a break (he's battling a nagging knee injury), but at the mid-point of the 2010 NFL Seaon your NFL passing leader in terms of QB Rating is Vincent Paul Young, Jr.

Vince Young has a league-best passer rating of 103.1, ahead of No. 2 Peyton Manning (101.4). The passer rating formula uses attempts, completions, yards, interceptions and touchdowns. A rating of 100 is good. Young came into the season with a career rating of 72.3.

Young is fourth with a 99.5 third-down passer rating, where Manning is seventh at 94.9, Garrard is ninth at 93.1 and Schaub is 13th at 90.9.

Oh, by the way: the Titans just acquired Randy Moss. Things just got very, very interesting.

For the year, Vince is 72-122 for 998 yards, with 9 TDs and just 2 INTs. His 103.1 QB Rating leads the league.
