Texas used 7 extra base hits on Saturday night to even the series with Texas Tech leading to Sunday's rubber match. Cole Green improved to 5-0 with a strong 6.2 IP, and Chance Ruffin gets his 6th save by throwing 2.1 scoreless innings. The offensive heroes tonight were 7-8-9 hitters Russell Moldenhauer, Tant Shepherd and Jordan Etier who combined to go 7-11, score 5 runs and drive in 5 more. (Box Score)

Like we said on Friday, crazy things can happen in Lubbock and a series win will be just fine. It'll be Brandon Workman (3-1, 2.94 ERA) on the mound today at 12 PM going for that series victory against TBA. Chad Bettis has started the previous two Sundays for Tech, but he threw more than 50 pitches on Friday so it seems unlikely that he'd get the start. Today's game is supposed to be on Fox Sports Network, we'll see if that'll actually be the case.
