Vondrell McGee arrested on misdemeanor DWI charge
University of Texas running back Vondrell McGee was charged with driving while intoxicated after being arrested at 3:07 a.m. Sunday in the 500 block of Martin Luther King Boulevard, according to the arrest report.
According to the report filed by the Department of Public Safety, McGee was pulled over for driving with his headlights turned off. The officer said in the arrest report that he detected the strong odor of alcohol on McGee and that McGee’s eyes were bloodshot.
