Texas turned in another fantastic defensive performance, holding Oklahoma State to 32% shooting, as the Longhorns improved their record to 17-3, 5-0 in Big 12 play, with a 61-46 win over the Cowboys in Stillwater. Tristan Thompson led the Horns with 14 points, and both Jordan Hamilton (12) and Dogus Balbay (10) scored in double digits.
On a night commemorating the tragic loss of ten members of the Oklahoma State basketball program ten years ago, it was an emotional night at Gallagher-Iba arena, but on the floor, there wasn't much the Cowboys could do. It was a methodical win for Rick Barnes squad, who weren't great, but were consistent and solid throughout.
A very nice job picking up a win on the first of three games in six days for the Horns. Next up is Missouri on Saturday night in Austin (8:00 pm CT tip).
This is your celebration thread.
