It would be a lay down for me to throw up some pop tune to get y'all amped up for game day. But MLB Network hit it out of the park, so to speak, during last night's world series post-season highlight package with Kasabian's Switchblade Smiles. And before you go all "Are you kidding me?", this driving song is exactly what we need to set the table for the rest of this season with many bragging rights remaining.
So this is my personal message to HarsinWhite: All those pearly smiles are great but we are looking for a wrecking ball. And no better time to showcase offensive wrath than against the doormat Kansas Jayhawks who are giving up an NC2A worst 50+ points per game.

Can you feel it coming?
Move.
So buckle in as it is game on. Texas will host Kansas later today (kickoff is 6:00 p.m. CDT) and will the second football game broadcast on the Longhorn Network. The LHN has posted a list of locations broadcasting the game if you do not already receive it in the comfort and privacy of your dwelling (I'm sure that most of you qualify for the latter including yours truly). This list is only a partial so if you are aware of other locales offering up the game tonight, please post in the comments. If you can't get to one of the venues, there is always the radio broadcast of silky, smooth Craig Way (TexasSports.com ($) or KRLD.com). BON will put up the game thread roughly around 5:00 p.m.
As for all the other college football action, check out the listings here. Games of note...
Oklahoma at Kansas State (2:30 - ESPN/ESPN3)
Baylor at Oklahoma State (2:30 - ABC/ESPN2/ESPN3)
Michigan State at Nebraska (11:00 - ESPN)
Stanford at USC (7:00 - ABC/ESPNGP)
Enjoy your Saturday foobaw. And as always, Hook 'em.
