Texas Football: Longhorns Ranked No. 20 in Post-Spring Poll

ESPN's college football panelists released their post-spring Top 25 poll, with OU still at No. 1, followed by Alabama, Oregon, LSU, and Boise State.  Checking in at No. 20?  Your Texas Longhorns.

A Top 20 ranking implies, what, a record of about 8-4? Maybe 9-3?  Is that about what folks are expecting?  I'm curious.

We have huge question marks both at quarterback and in the secondary, the former because Garrett Gilbert was terrible last year and looked no less lost during the spring (where he could not definitively beat out three kids with zero experience), and the latter after losing three starters to graduation/NFL. And the offensive line situation is... less than settled.

Of course, everyone loses talent, and everyone has their issues, but I'm interested to hear how you're feeling about Texas at the conclusion of spring practice. Is the new blood on the staff enough to get this turned around quickly? And what does 'turned around' mean? How much are you counting on true freshmen? How much is it fair to count on noobs?
