Texas Volleyball Defeats Michigan, Headed To Championship Game

UPDATE: Texas wins, 3 sets to 2! The Longhorns rallied from a 2 sets to 1 deficit to defeat Michigan and advance to the NCAA Championship Game on Saturday night, when they will face the winner of Penn State versus Oregon, who are about to get underway in the other national semifinal. The number 3 seed Lady Horns take on the Michigan Wolverines in the NCAA Volleyball National Semifinals tonight at 6 p.m. central on ESPN 2. If they get past Michigan they will face the winner of the Penn State vs. Oregon matchup in National Championship game. Be sure to tune in to cheer on the Gazelles as they try to get over the hump this year and bring a National Championship home to the 40 Acres.

On the path to another Final Four, this Horns team defeated USC 3-0 and Florida 3-0. Considering the doom and gloom surrounding the current state of Texas football and basketball this Lady Horn Team is bright spot on the radar. As Ohio Horn posted the other day, this Longhorn team has a very real shot to win it all and deserves our full support.
