Longhorns Look To Stay Hot Against Stephen F. Austin

Texas baseball returns to the diamond tonight for a midweek matchup with Stephen F. Austin just two days after the Horns completed a sweep of Oklahoma. The Lumberjacks are 7-12 overall but have fought hard in midweek games, including a close 4-3 loss to Texas A&M in early March. In SFA, Texas has an opponent whose team batting average is below their own (.251 to .249) and nobody in the Lumberjacks lineup really scares you outside of Hunter Dozier, whose .329 BA and six home runs are both very impressive.

Expected pitching duel tonight is lefty Dillon Peters for Texas, who hopes to deflate his 6.23 ERA with a good performance, against the Lumberjacks' Brett Higginbotham (2-0, 3.24 ERA). Game time is 6 PM and it'll be available on the Longhorn Network. Hopefully the Horns can grab another victory to keep the positive momentum going.
