Rumors have been swirling for some time that 2013 Fort Worth Arlington Heights defensive tackle A'Shawn Robinson is not fully committed to Texas, with speculation that he will visit USC at some point. However, Robinson missed the recent Rising Stars camp held by the Trojans -- good news for the Longhorns.
Robinson hasn't been granting interviews recently, so he hasn't exactly been out there shooting down those rumors. Now out at The Opening in Oregon, Robinson is finally speaking on the issue and while most kids are 100% committed until they aren't, the big defensive tackle is saying the right things right now, as is his mother:
A'Shawn Robinson's mother says he's firmly committed to Texas.

In further developments from the Good News department, Robinson and Ricky Seals-Jones are apparently getting along:
Good to see A'Shawn and Ricky Seals-Jones horsing around like - dare I say it - future teammates.

Keeping Robinson in the fold and securing a second commitment from RSJ would certainly keep the dreaminess of Dream Team 2013 going strong.
Stay tuned for more updates from The Opening.
