Texas Football 2012: Depth Chart Update - Week 2

Texas Longhorn depth chart has been updated coming off the first win of the season vs. Wyoming.

Notable changes:

After missing the first game due to a team rules violation, Daje Johnson is listed as an or at H Receiver alongside John Harris behind Bryant Jackson. Very surprising of the Harris position on the depth chart. I feel we can really use his blocking, especially early on the game.

Maybe an even bigger bump is Tank Jackson now listed as starting defensive tackle alongside Chris Whaley. This despite Moore posting two tackles for loss. Desmond played amped up football Saturday night and may have played his way into the starter role. It has been reported that Moore had some efforting issues coming out of halftime, thus the reward for Tank. One of the concerns with the Juco transfer Moore was his conditioning level. Reportedly he had a very good camp but game time is different than practice time. Hopefully he doesn't hang his head, keeps the nose to the grind, and works just as hard to overcome the speed bump.

Alex De La Torre is listed alongside Roberson as an -OR- at fullback.

Mack Brown said in the press conference today that Nick Rose will compete with Nick Jordan for placekicking duties this week.
