Apparently Erich Weiss was the problem for Texas baseball's offense. The junior sat out for the first time in his career as a Longhorn after taking a pitch off his nose on Friday night. Texas responded with 12 runs on 14 hits. Dillon Peters shut out the Mountaineers over 8 strong innings and Texas got a 12-0 win that evened this must win series. A win today and the NCAA tournament is still realistic (although still a long shot).
Nathan Thornhill will be on the mound at noon today. Maybe Texas will win a series but this will be your open thread.
