Texas Longhorns Basketball: Lipscomb Game Thread

Tonight, the Texas Longhorns face the 4-5 Lipscomb Bisons. Lipscomb is a private school in Nashville with an enrollment of around 4,000 students.

We will keep things simple, since the game tips off shortly. Lipscomb is a team that likes to play fast and shoot the three. 6-5 sophomore Josh Williams is the name to know; he shoots from the perimeter, goes to the basket, gets out in transition, and is quite effective scoring on the offensive glass. 6-9 Brett Wishon is the best of coach Casey Alexander's three point shooters, but Nathan Moran, Martin Smith, and J.C. Hampton will all pull the trigger at pretty much any time. The 6-5 Malcolm Smith is the only perimeter player who doesn't shoot the three ball; he is far more likely to put the ball on the deck and attack the rim.
