Texas Longhorns bull ring drill from Sunday open practice

Football comin'.

During the first Texas Longhorns open practice of the Charlie Strong era on Sunday, the skill position players participated in a bull ring drill that features the players trying to drive each other backwards, a measure of physicality, strength, and overall toughness.

Some of the match ups included a convincing effort from freshman safety Edwin Freeman against an offensive player who is difficult to identify, but could be freshman wide receiver Dorian Leonard. Another freshman wide receiver, Garrett Gray, makes a successful early appearance.

But then the real fun starts and several players manage pancakes against their opponent/teammate, including one rep of an offensive linemen and a defensive lineman to finish the session.
