With 40 starts under his belt, senior snapper Dominic Espinosa left the game in the second half Saturday night with what appeared to be a severe ankle injury.

Reports this afternoon confirm he broke his right ankle.

The severity of the break is not known at this time, however, it is hard to imagine him returning prior to the Texas Tech game.

This injury could not have happened to a more important player on offense as the remainder of the offensive line accumulated roughly five games between them.

Redshirt freshman Jake Raulerson takes over at center.  As they say, time to step up.

Godspeed, Dominic.
