The celebration when the Texas Longhorns upset the No. 9-ranked Oklahoma Sooners for head coach Charlie Strong's first signature win of his tenure went about exactly as one might expect -- the jubilant team doused Strong in Gatorade, then engaged in a wild celebration that culminated with players turning Strong into the country's highest-paid crowd surfer.

In the midst of a difficult season that has already included two blowout losses and two more heartbreaking losses, to say that the moment was cathartic would seem like an understatement.
It was a beautiful sight for the burnt orange faithful and an absolutely deserved moment for Strong and a team that had to overcome plenty of drama and even more doubters this week to beat a good football team, doing so in convincing fashion.
