Allan has preferred walk-on status, according to 247Sports, and will join the team following the end of his senior year. The 5'9, 165-pounder made 13-of-14 field goals as a senior and 38-of-42 extra points.

WIth both of Texas' current active kickers graduating, Allan could see the field as soon as next season. Jon Coppens joined the team last year as a preferred walk-on and freshman Evan Moore is also on the Texas roster.
