Former Texas Longhorns star Earl Thomas and the Seattle Seahawks will play for a second straight Super Bowl against the New England Patriots on Sunday amid continued controversy surrounding the deflated footballs in the AFC Championship game.
With the Patriots further solidifying themselves as villains, Horns fans will surely find themselves rooting for Thomas and his teammates to win another championship, even though the burnt orange faithful still don't have any love lost for head coach Pete Carroll.
And lest anyone worry whether Thomas still identifies as a Longhorn, he sent out the following Instagram post on Sunday:

Go get another ring for yourself, Earl.
The presence of Thomas on the team bodes well for Seattle:
Earl Thomas is the 13th Longhorn to play in two Super Bowls. There has also been a Horn on the last 7 winning Super Bowl Teams. Good stuff
