Big news could be coming soon.
Orangebloods is teasing a potential defensive back flip that could come in at any point on Tuesday evening. The committed defensive backs the Horns have pursued in recent days include Ducks safety commit PJ Locke and Miami (Fla.) Northwestern cornerback Deandre Baker.
Locke was offered on Sunday and re-affirmed his commitment to Oregon on Monday evening, while Baker is expected to choose between Texas and Georgia, the school that has long held his pledge.
The potential defensive back who surfaced on the radar on Monday, Washington (D.C.) Gonzaga athlete Marcus Lewis, said that he will decide on Wednesday, then later deleted the tweet. Bad news for the Horns? Since the Seminoles missed on five-star cornerback Minkah Fitzpatrick on Tuesday, Florida State remains the likely destination for Lewis.
However, since Lewis deleted the tweet, there could still be time for Texas.
Keep on eye on UCLA wide receiver commit Ryan Newsome.
The decision by the Aledo star pass catcher and return man was so obviously tortured that he's been a flip candidate ever since he pledged to the Bruins less than two weeks ago. Over the weekend, he said that Texas was still recruiting him hard and that he was still listening. Scout is now teasing that there could be another decision looming for the 5'8, 170-pounder.
He definitely took public notice of Locksley's flip from the Noles on Monday evening:
Congrats to my homie Kai! Boy a baller.

Daylon Mack will be an Aggie.
On the heels of reports from the Texas side on Monday that five-star defensive tackle Daylon Mack won't pick the Horns on Monday, more news started to trickle out from the Horned Frogs side early on Tuesday from severalocations. Even folks at Gladewater started talking.
Don't expect much more this evening.
Unless something breaks publicly, don't expect the pay sites to even tease much beyond the paywalls until the faxes starting coming in and the remaining targets announce their final intentions on Wednesday. So it goes.
