Jordan Spieth's new house is way cooler than wherever you lived at 21

Remember: He should still be in Austin splitting an apartment with three or four roommates.

Still feel like criticizing one-and-done athletes? SportsDay DFW has a a 40-picture slideshow that takes you on a tour of former Longhorn Jordan Speith's new Dallas area home, and it's something you need to see.

His new Preston Hollow-area palace is valued at $2.3 million -- which is probably worth $2.29 million more than wherever you and I were living at Speith's age. The Masters champ made around $12.6 million in off-the-course earnings alone last year. That doesn't even factor in the earnings bump he'll receive from his newfound nationwide fame or what he's made on the course. When you've got that kind of change to throw around at 21, here's what you can do with your living quarters:

"The home has five bedrooms, 5.5 baths. Some of the amenities include:

-- Two 12 ft. stone islands in chef's kitchen.

-- 288-bottle wine closet

-- Media room

-- Game room

-- Office with 2 story ceilings and paneled doors leading to computer work stations."

Most 21-year-old men haven't even discovered wine yet -- and here's Jordan Speith with a wine closet bigger than your dorm room.

He'll get to spend a few days enjoying his new digs, as he's taking the week off from the PGA Tour stop in New Orleans this week.
