Texas heads to Tulsa needing to win the Big 12 Tournament to make the NCAA tournament.

Steven Branscombe-USA TODAY Sports

Your Texas Longhorns must win the Big 12 Tournament in order to keep their season alive for one more weekend. It's a tall task. The Horns will start the tournament versus Texas Tech at 9 AM.

Aside from the question of whether Texas will win the tournament, the other major question to be settled this weekend is whether Augie Garrido will return for another go next season. To that end, Steve Patterson addressed Augie and while he didn't exactly give a vote of confidence he didn't sound on the verge of firing his third major coach in 18 months.
