The Elite Quarterback Academy run by the Texas Longhorns this week produced the second 2018 offer extended by the staff on Monday evening, as Somerset's Zadock Dinkelmann joined Memphis (Tenn.) Harding Academy offensive tackle Will Lawerence as the only players holding that distinction:
Blessed to receive an offer from the University of Texas , truly an amazing school

The 6'4.5, 213-pounder pledged to the LSU Tigers in February of 2014, but he's clearly open enough to the process that he's taking other visits. Right now, the Horns are his only other offer and there obviously aren't any rankings so far for the 2018 class.
The nephew of former NFL quarterbacks and collegiate stars Ty and Koy Detmer, Dinkelmann doesn't have to look far to pick up the finer points of quarterback play. However, he also got some athletic genes from his father, Johan Dinkelmann, who was born in South Africa and spent some time playing tight end for the Cleveland Browns.
