U.S. Open final round discussion thread: Can Jordan Spieth close out on his second straight major?

Come discuss the U.S. Open on this rainy Father's Day Sunday in Austin.

21-year-old Jordan Spieth will have an opportunity today to close on his second straight major championship in a matter of three months.

Spieth struggled a bit yesterday, as the USGA amped up the difficulty on what is already an absurdly tough golf course in Chambers Bay. Spieth said after his round Friday that two weekend rounds in the 60s would probably get the job done, as the USGA will do everything in its power to move scores back towards par--which is 70.

Spieth shot a 71 on Saturday, missing some key putts early on, including back-to-back bogeys on holes four and five.

The former Longhorn will be in the second to last pairing, teeing off at 4:48 p.m. CT alongside South African Branden Grace.

Spieth would be only the fourth player since 1960 to win the first two major championships of the year.

Will we see another lit tower in Austin tonight? This is your U.S. Open discussion thread.
