Texas HC Charlie Strong reportedly making two Monday in-home visits

On the heels of what appeared to be a massively successful visit weekend for the Texas Longhorns, head coach Charlie Strong is hitting the road once again Monday and will reportedly make two key stops:

The first visit mentioned above is to see Alief Elsik linebacker Dontavious Jackson, who released his list of top five schools on Monday and could take an unofficial visit to Texas before National Signing Day. Though Jackson isn't planning on giving any interviews until he makes his decision on February 3, expect some news of that visit to start trickling out if Strong is able to secure it.

As for Porter, the 2016 US Army All-American is down to three schools -- Arkansas, TCU, and Texas. In addition to the two official visits mentioned, he's planning on heading to Fayetteville before making his own decision on National Signing Day. Another running back target, George Ranch's Darius Anderson, will also be on the Texas campus next weekend.

[6: 16 p.m. update]: Strong has several assistants with him to visit with Jackson and is also meeting with Elsik safety Chris Brown, who remains a Texas target:

[8:03 p.m. update]: Chris Brown reacts to his visit from the Texas coaches, a group that included offensive coordinator Sterlin Gilbert, tight ends coach Jeff Traylor, and defensive backs Chris Vaughn. Since Traylor handles East Texas and Gilbert will likely take Central Texas, their presence is a bit interesting -- perhaps they're selling the direction of the offense to the defensive players?
