How to watch Texas ATH target Lil'Jordan Humphrey's announcement

The Texas Longhorns are hoping to continue the recruiting momentum generated by Waco cornerback Eric Cuffee's Thursday commitment when Southlake Carroll athlete Lil'Jordan Humphrey announces his decision on Dallas-area television on Saturday evening.

The 6'5, 199-pounder will choose between Texas and the Wisconsin Badgers.

There was some turnover among the finalists in recent weeks -- at the beginning of January, Humphrey narrowed his list to Texas and California, with plans to visit the Bay Area this weekend. However, those plans fell through and the Texas Tech Red Raiders briefly entered his recruitment, but never received a visit.

Ultimately, it was the Badgers that got that visit, as Humphrey tripped to Madison last week:

Texas hosted Humphrey and his parents on the huge visit weekend in mid-January, then received the final word with the Carroll product on Friday evening, as head coach Charlie Strong and several coaches watched Humphrey's basketball game before holding an in-home visit with his family.

The Longhorns have long been the favorite, but there was some buzz about the Badgers on Friday evening:

Perhaps that's truly the case, or perhaps it was merely an attempt to generate some drama for an announcement that isn't expected to have much of it.

Humphrey is a consensus three-star prospect rated as the No. 393 player overall, No. 19 athlete, and No. 59 player in the state of Texas, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings. He collected 15 offers throughout his recruitment.
