New Orleans (La.) St. Augustine defensive tackle D'Andre Christmas-Giles has a list of his top 10 schools, which he released on Twitter Tuesday evening:

After hosting the 6'3, 290-pounder on an official visit in December that happened to coincide with a potentially game-changing offer from LSU and his decommitment from Tennessee, Texas making the list was not particularly surprising, as the Longhorns and Tigers are currently seen as the strongest contenders to land his signature. Unfortunately, the offer from the home-state school sparked an LSU surge in his Crystal Ball:
However, the note that Christmas-Giles will release a top three on National Signing Day raises some questions about when exactly he will decide. Is he planning on releasing a top three in the morning and then announcing at a signing ceremony at some point thereafter? Or will he opt to extend his recruitment past National Signing Day?
Since Christmas-Giles has gone rather silent about his recruitment recently, there may not be any firm answers from him to those questions as his comment increases the drama surrounding a recruitment that is already one of the most important for the Longhorns in the 2016 class. However, the guess here is that he decides on National Signing Day. If he picks Texas, it would go a long way towards securing the feature of the defensive tackle position in Austin.
