Vegas is betting on continued road struggles for the ‘Horns.

The Texas Longhorns will travel to Manhattan this weekend to face off against the Kansas State Wildcats in hopes of earning the program’s first road win this season as 2.5-point underdogs in the opening line from the Vegas Insider consensus.

The line quickly another half point in favor of the home team, which is undefeated in three games at Bill Snyder Family Football Stadium in 2016. The Wildcats are also 6-1 all time against the Longhorns in Manhattan, with the lone Texas victory coming in 2002.

However, despite the record at home, Kansas State’s wins came against Florida Atlantic, Missouri State, and a reeling Texas Tech team that just suffered a 48-17 loss to West Virginia in Lubbock.

The ‘Horns are hardly a road powerhouse with two losses this season and little success in true road games under third-year head coach Charlie Strong, but should provide the biggest challenge yet for the Wildcats at home this season.
