After playing at 11 a.m. for most of the conference season, the Texas Longhorns will finally kick off in the 2:30 p.m. CT slot against the Baylor Bears on October 29, the conference announced on Monday.
A decision on whether the game will air on ABC, ESPN, or ESPN2 will come next week and will likely hinge on whether the Longhorns can secure the program’s second all-time victory in Manhattan against the Kansas State Wildcats this weekend.
Baylor will attempt to get revenge for last year’s regular-season ending upset by Texas in Waco.
The last win for the ‘Horns in Austin against the Bears was the 56-50 shootout in 2012.
