Faith in the Longhorns is dropping as quickly in Vegas as it is in Austin.

A 49-31 loss by the Texas Longhorns on Saturday in Stillwater likely helped push the opening line of +7 for the Red River Shootout at the Cotton Bowl next weekend further in favor of the Oklahoma Sooners.

According to VegasInsider.com, early movement of the line also favored the Sooners, victors over the TCU Horned Frogs following a big comeback, as during Sunday afternoon, the line moved another three points towards Oklahoma.

With Texas reeling and head coach Bob Stoops’ program bouncing back from the disappointments against Houston and Ohio State, the line isn’t likely to move back towards the ‘Horns throughout the week, especially with the availabilities of star running backs D’Onta Foreman and Chris Warren still in question.
