On Friday, the Texas Longhorns should get a boost from several players returning from injury against the TCU Horned Frogs, if warm ups are any indication.

After missing the Kansas game due to a concussion sustained early in the game against the West Virginia Mountaineers two weeks ago, sophomore linebacker Malik Jefferson is dressed and cleared to play.

Other injured players who are also dressed include sophomore right guard Jake McMillon (knee), freshman center Zach Shackelford (ankle), senior tight end Caleb Bluiett (ankle), and freshman defensive lineman Jordan Elliott (knee).

Of those players, McMillon is the mostly likely to play and do so effectively, as he’s been able to sit out two games to heal. Shackelford has suffered from ankle issues all season and may be limited, while Bluiett will also likely be limited due to the injury he sustained last week.

Elliott has been out since suffering his knee injury against Iowa State.
