After a one-week absence, the Texas Longhorns will return to Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium next Saturday to face off against the West Virginia Mountaineers at 11 a.m. CT on FS1, the Big 12 announced on Sunday.
Texas has already played four other times in the early slot this season, winning for the first time against Texas Tech this weekend, but hasn’t had a pre-noon start at home in 2016.
With the 45-37 win over the Red Raiders, the Longhorns recorded the season’s first road win and will attempt to remain undefeated in Austin when the Mountaineers come to town.
Head coach Dana Holgorsen’s team sits at 7-1 following a demolition of Kansas.
