Daily Round Up: Roll Left

The words live in infamy for Texas fans.

Roll left lives in infamy. The play was a roll of the dice for Mackovic.

The men’s basketball team lost to Michigan. “The offense struggled with its half-court sets down the stretch and, frankly, the Horns missed some shots you must make to win at this level. Tevin Mack had 18 points, two shy of tying his career high. But Andrew Jones was the next leading scorer with seven points as Texas shot 35 percent after halftime.”

Charlie Strong’s name keeps popping up in the news.

Baylor did their homework on their new head football coach. He’s the son of a minister! “As that school tries to dig out from scandal, however, it did its homework. From everything I've seen the last few years, Rhule is both the real deal as a football coach and made to order for Baylor. He's even the son of a minister. They'll like that down there.” And Art Briles is a Christian, so there’s that.

Looking back to that Sam Ukwuachu debacle, it is easier to trust Chris Petersen than Art Briles.
