There's officially a new target for the Texas Longhorns in the 2017 class, as Hooks athlete Montrell Estell received his offer on Thursday evening:

The 6'2, 180-pounder was a visitor for the Junior Day in late February and has picked up some other big offers in recent weeks -- Texas A&M extended one just before his visit to College Station for a Junior Day and Arkansas and Notre Dame also offered in late February. Arizona State, Kansas, SMU, and Texas Tech have offered as well.

A consensus three-star prospect, Estell is the No. 347 prospect nationally, the No. 31 athlete, and the No. 51 player in Texas, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.

The offer from Texas A&M produced two 247Sports Crystal Ball predictions for the Aggies, while the Longhorns held one prior to his offer from head coach Charlie Strong and his staff.

Like many prospects from smaller schools, Estelle is a two-way star for Hooks -- he combined for nine touchdowns on offense last year with nearly 1,000 total yards rushing and receiving and also recorded six interceptions on defense. The 'Horns are recruiting him as a wide receiver.
