Whether it be buzzer beaters or powerhouses falling at the hands of Cinderella the opening weekend of the 2016 NCAA Tournament was a wild ride. Now, four victories from this point result in a banner and cutting the nets, and 16 teams still have the opportunity to accomplish such a feat.
Even with all the craziness, the current landscape now features some familiar names many expected to be here, like Kansas, Villanova, Oklahoma, North Carolina, and Duke. With eight more teams playing the final game of their season over the next two days, who will continue to survive and advance?
For Texas fans, the second game of the evening presents quite a quandary -- when the current conference rival (Oklahoma) plays the former conference rival/little brother (Texas A&M), where do the allegiances of the burnt orange faithful lie?
